How to Signal Netiquette Violations

The violations of the Netiquette Rules must be brought to the attention of the Naming Authority Italiana and the Registration Authority Italiana by e-mail, sending a mail to ABUSE@NA.nic.it and as carbon copy to info@nic.it.

In case of

Mail Spamming or Unsolicited E-Mail

include the FULL HEADER of the mail (click here for an example) and those sections of the text of the message which may be useful for the identification of the real sender (e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, fax numbers, postal addresses...). Do not include the full text of the message.

ATTENTION: do not bring violations to the attention of lists other than those indicated above.

The Naming Authority will then contact the culprits and their providers, following the appropriate procedures.

Sending messages to the Abuse list implies the authorisation to their publication into the list archive, which is available to the public at:

http://www.nic.it/RA/servizi/listserv/abuse.html
