  • check of the congruence between the LAR and the electronic form:
    - the person indicated as "admin-c" in the electronic form must be the same person that signed the letter
    - the provider/maintainer indicated in the LAR must be the same one that sent the electronic form
  • checks on the NetRegister registration forms:
the syntactical correctness of the form is automatically checked; in case of mistakes, the RA will inform NetRegister via e-mail that will have to correct them and to send the form again
  • Once the form has passed positively through the syntactical check:
    - the RA checks the entry person of each person indicated in the form
    - the e-mail address of the postmaster, which is a mandatory
  • check of the correct configuration of the nameserver:
this check is made by RA that will inform NetRegister of the success or the failure of this operation.
  • It is possible to verify the registration status (ex. Under registration, registered, etc.) of the requested domain name

After all the formal and technical checks have been passed,
the RA registers the domain name

PLEASE NOTE: when you register a domain name, priority is given to the arrival of the LAR, not of the electronic form. Consequently, in case of two organisations that asked for the same domain name, this one will be assigned to the one that firstly has sent the LAR.
